At school Ethan find out there is a new female transfer student and hears her playing Sixteen Moons in a band. Comedy and the romance. There is a few funny scenes that manage to give audience a good laugh.

Very little magic battle and action, the romance happen too fast. The 2 young ones just fall in love like thats, a typical love story. The love story and magic story did not balance very well.
Final thought
Fans of Harry Porter + Eclipse Saga, young teens will definitely enojy the movie or those who enjoy teen love story will too as the movie does focus more on the love story side.
Movie about witches, warlocks and magic and I am expecting a lot of magic battle and CG but I was disappointed. The presentation of spells and magics are weak. Comparing to other magic movie, you can see some fireball, water spells, giant and etc which this movie does not have. I guess I put more expectation on the magic thing but the producer think differently. All in all, not a bad movie if you go in with expectation of watching magic battle.
