Great news for the folks at US. HP announces that the WI-FI version of HP TouchPad will be available at United State starting 1st July. The device will slow launch to North America, Europe during July and yes, the devices is schedule to be launch at Asia Pacific later this year however Malaysia is not in the list from the official press .... I am still looking forwards. HP TouchPad will be selling $499.99 for 16GB and $599.99 for 32GB. if you check out at HP.com you will be able to perform a pre-order of HP TouchPad starting 19th June. [ HP.com ] I am looking forward for how much HP TouchPad had change for its official launch. Nevertheless, HP TouchPad will have a tough competition getting though the Apple IPad and Androids Honeycomb Pads. HP TouchPad loose the advantage of an early launch to gain market rate however HP has been doing pretty good with marketing strategic and hope the HP TouchPad will turn the table a bit for the tablet market. Follow by the announcement of the 3 new webOS devices by HP, it might mark the end of Palm legacy. All 3 webOS deceive did not carry a single Palm logo. It might sound sad but true. Is the survivor of the fittest. I wish HP will launch all 3 at Asia Pacific, especially Malaysia. We had miss the 2 generation of Palm Pre and I hope we would miss the third as well.
