Just when I thought I finish reading all Apple new launch yesterday, it seem that I missed out the Mac mini. Yes, Mac mini also being upgrade with new hardware and spec. Latest Intel processor, Thunderbolt, and the most interesting, a discrete graphic card!? and no super drive!? Mac mini was marketed as a bridge for PC/Microsoft window user to cross over to Apple Mac and it did a beautiful job. The first gen Mac mini bring a new definition for small form factor PC. People are being creative on utilize Mac mini at different place and occasion. Put a Mac mini in a car and you can do magic with it. Put a Mac mini in the living room and you can enjoy movie streaming on your large TV and comfort sofa set :D.

Today, there is a new and faster MacBook Air available at Apple Store. Starting from RM3099, MacBook Air is the most affordable notebook from Apple. But wait, what about MacBook? people said. If you have the chance to log in Apple Store you may notice the old MacBook is off the shelves. This mark the begin of the new MacBook Air era as the entry level offer from Apple. I guess this is a good sign as MacBook is old and loosing its ground, to other more affordable yet trendy notebook. RIP MocBook. Beside MacBook Air, Apple has also make available the long awaited Mac OS X Lion. Yeah! The new OS contain tons of new and cool features. The Apple IPad inspired App LaunchPad, auto save for document, full screen apps, etc. I guess the most important breakthrough introduced to Mac OS is the Mac App Store. According to a report from Lowyat.NET, a MEEGO powered EEE PC will be launching next week. This machine is priced at very affordable level, RM 799 and was meant to be a target of first time computer user. Spec wise, the EEE PC is more that enough for our day to day work, as what a typical netbook will behave. However I do see a trend here where smartphone OS making it way to PC form factor, netbook for a start. It make good sense whereby, I do not need a very powerful OS or machine for internet and word processing. All the smartphone in the market is able to serve this purpose. The drawback of these smartphone are the screen is too tiny for certain task :D. I wanted all the best and good of a smartphone but at a bigger screen. The most important feature we looking at smartphone is optimization for battery live and user experience. I believe most organization will also apply the similar management KPI. Imagine this: There is a lot of big lorry and heavy transport passing by neighborhood and cause small and big hole on the black tar road. These holes haven't cause any safety issue or hazard however it still never nice to see and drive. One day government decided to patch the road and slowly phase by phase deploy the patch. Good news for the neighborhood. The patch job took about 1 month to finish and we are enjoying the newly patch and repair road. Comfort :D. Now here come the bad news, a weeks later, TNB decide to perform upgrade the power line at the neighborhood and starting to dig out the old power line. Guess what, they are digging at the newly patched and repaired road #$%^&*(. We all appreciate the governmen

A lot of rumors had been passing around about coming Saturday "special event". There will be road closure to minimize traffic going in to town. Police is getting aggressive in trying to stop or prevent chaos to break out at city center during Saturday. I also wonder if all this is necessary. Maybe all this act is just to get peoples attention, which I think are pretty successful. For those who had no idea what I am talking about, you may try your luck browsing through the past few days news. Peoples had felt the tension even on Friday, which tomorrow. A lot of organization is giving their staff half day leave, Some of my friend even go to extend to take leave tomorrow, to avoid something that might have happen.
