I guess when bad luck hit, it really does hit you hard. I was involved in a freak accident yesterday 20/4/2007, Jalan Kuching. I was hit by a speeding car than is not manage to stop. Some serious cut on the hand and leg and total of 14 stitches.
The story goes like this, I was going home as usual on busy Friday night taking Jalan Kuching Route. It was raining and the road is wet and slippery. I drive at normal 80 km/j, the road was clear and the traffic is consider smooth. All the sudden a car in front trying to come out to fast lane and I step on the car brakes hard. The car did stop and I was relief for a second then something goes wrong. The car begin to slip to the right and hit the divider, hard. The car stop. I turn on the emergency signal light and go out from my car and check the car damage. As predicted, the front light and bumper is lost. The front bumper stuck under the car so I plan to take it out and at the point of time there is this very nice foreman come to scenes and ask if I require a toll service. As I am about to go inside my car, this speeding proton wira hit the back of my car and I was being drag along as well. I go out blank for a few second and when I recover I found that my left arm bend ad-normally and I could not feel my left arm, I got panic. Then slowly I can fell my left arm and luckily it was just merely some small cut and bruises, and really bad muscle pain. My right arm suffer series bleeding and I also notice a deep cut at the left leg near the knees. The helpful foreman also have some cut on the leg. The impact was so strong that my back bumper and car booth is totally destroy. I had totally lost and blur. Then the traffic police came along to oversee the situation, but not really helpful at all. Then I over heard the wira driver arguing with the foreman, and he trying to hit and run. Then I notice there is a third party involved, but that was just minor damage at the back bumper. He took down my car number and I was to blur to take down the car number and contact from him, and the other car driver as well. The helpful foreman saw that my bleeding did not stop and drive me to the hospital fast. I was out of the scene and at the hospital.
The car is seriously damage and I was lucky enough to be alive. I recall I was hit by the car directly cause I can see the bumper during the hit and I am lucky that my left arm protect me else my head will be injured. Again is very unusual experience for me
