Synopsis:

A reboot of the iconic superhero for a new DC Universe, Superman presents a Man of Steel who is already an established hero. Like:

- David Corenswet as Superman/Clark Kent: He embodies the charm, vulnerability, and heroic sincerity of the character. He brings a refreshing, more human touch to the role.

- Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane: She is smart, witty, and a true partner to Clark, creating some of the film's best moments.

- The Comic-Book Vibe: It's colorful, fun, and unapologetically comic-booky. It feels like a live-action comic brought to the screen, complete with offbeat humor and imaginative set pieces.

Not Like:

- Overstuffed Cast: The inclusion of other superheroes like Mr. Terrific, Hawkgirl, and Guy Gardner, while interesting, feels like a distraction. It takes focus away from Superman and Lois’s relationship and waters down the main narrative.

- Disjointed Plot: The story can feel more like three separate episodes of a TV show than a cohesive movie, with the lead character reacting to events rather than driving the plot forward.

- Krypto: While some might love the super-powered dog, others may find his inclusion to be more childish and off-putting than endearing, leaning a bit too much into Gunn's quirky humor .

My Thought:

Don't think, just go and watch it if you're a comic book fan. This is the most "comic book movie" ever made, bursting with colorful chaos and a fun spirit. James Gunn has created a world that feels alive with superheroes, and David Corenswet is a fantastic Superman. However, if you are looking for a deep, focused character study or a tightly plotted thriller, you might be let down. The movie's ambition to launch an entire universe often overshadows its heart, making it a fun but somewhat forgettable blockbuster. Looking forward to a more focused Superman 2, maybe with less Justice Gang and more Clark and Lois?

Sabuti, A Burmese Traditional Food

I came across this stall at the restaurant opposite Pudu Plaza. A typical Chinese restourant selling typical Malaysian food, watan mee, porridge, pan mee, and etc. Then something caught me, some Burmese selling something call Sabuti. From far it look like porridge. When I get a closer look at it, it is soup, like the Indian ox tail or chicken soup. My curiosity tell me to try it. I sit down and order 1 portion. They serve with salt and MSG. An extra RM 1 you will get the fried beef with chili and onion, I warm you...is super hot..at least for my standard. After my first sip and I know why they serve the salt and MSG. The soup is plain, pretty plain in taste. One might enjoy it but not me. I prefer my soup to be a bit "spice". Alex, Marty,Melman, Gloria is setting up to their next adventure and this time the party landed on Europe. They meet new friends at the circus and enemy, the Paris animal control, and has been travel across France, Rome, London and and return back to the big apple, New York City, Central Park Zoo. Again, the movie bring us a lot of laughter and joy. Marty will always so some silly thing, Alex will always save the day will some silly move, and Gloria and Melman will always silly and in love. I love this movie because beside the fun and joy the movie bring, the movie will always carry a positive message of true friendship and family value. I think I like this sequel the most and really touch by the scene when the they return to Central Park Zoo, a place where they called home and realizing they don't fell they are at "home".
